Discover Our Preventive Care Programs for Employers

We invite you to explore our preventive care programs and discover how they can help organizations of all sizes build a healthier, more financially resilient team—without requiring any changes to your existing healthcare insurance plan or wellness programs.

ESSENTIAL MEDICAL SERVICES

Our programs work alongside a medical insurance plan approved by the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Together, they form an integrated benefits plan called a "105 plan."

When employees pay for the plan through payroll deductions, the cost is taken out before taxes are applied (pre-tax). This is allowed under IRS rules (Section 106(a)), which state that the value of wellness programs that include medical care can be excluded from an employee's taxable income. This pre-tax setup reduces taxable income, saving both employees and employers money.

PAYROLL TAX SAVINGS

By allowing employees to pay for certain benefits, such as health insurance, with pre-tax dollars, employers can reduce their payroll tax liability. For example, employers can save approximately $500 to $590 per employee each year on payroll taxes due to the lower taxable wages resulting from these pre-tax deductions.

Reduced Taxable Income: Contributions made to a Section 125 plan can lower an employer's overall taxable income. As a result, when filing taxes, the employer reports a lower income, potentially leading to a reduced tax bill.

MEDICARE & SOCIAL SECURITY TAXES

Since the taxable wages are reduced, employers also pay less in Medicare and Social Security taxes, further contributing to their overall tax savings. Overall, these mechanisms allow employers to effectively manage their tax liabilities while providing valuable preventive care benefits to their employees and offering measurable advantages to the employer:

✔ Significant Reduction in Human Capital Expense

✔ Better Loss Ratio on Health Plan

✔ Improved Renewal Outcomes

✔ Healthier Employees

✔ Increased Employee Engagement

AFFORDABLE CARE ACT of 2010

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is a comprehensive healthcare reform law enacted in the United States in March 2010. Its primary goals are to improve the quality and affordability of health insurance, expand access to healthcare, and reduce overall healthcare costs for individuals and the government. We leverage this landmark program to provide valuable benefits to your school district or business.
